Getting Here
You will find us on the stunning Waternish peninsula on the North of Skye - off the beaten track but close enough to everything you will need. We are within easy travelling distance of the many wonderful places you come to visit us for: The Old Man of Storr, Waternish Point, Neist Point, Coral Beach, Talisker distillery, the Quiraing, the Fairy Pools and the famous Three Chimneys restaurant.
We are also within walking distance of the fabulous, Michelin - starred, Lochbay restaurant and our super local pub the Stein Inn. There is also a wealth of places to visit if you'd like to explore further. We will be very happy to help you plan your days!

There are many B&Bs and self catering accommodations nearby, so please follow these directions to make sure you get to us!
From Portree: Drive towards UIG, on the A87. About 4 miles (6.5km) out of Portree, turn LEFT onto the A850 towards Dunvegan. Stay on the A850 past the villages of Skeabost, Bernisdale, Flashader and Edinbane. About 2 miles (3.2km) after Edinbane (on the A850), you will have a long climb. As you descend on the other side of the long climb, turn RIGHT onto the B886 to Waternish, Stein and Geary. You’re nearly there! (The road is single track, so please use ‘passing places’ to allow traffic coming the other way to pass and to allow faster vehicles behind you to overtake). After 3 miles (4.8km) you will arrive in the village of Waternish. Keep going until you go around a sharp right- left turn in the road and onto a long, downhill straight. Halfway along the straight turn RIGHT up a track, where there is a small black and white sign that says ’20 Lochbay – Top of Track’. Our house is ¼ mile (400m) up the track, at the end. The track turns back on itself after 200m, as shown below.
From Dunvegan: Drive towards PORTREE on the A850. After 3.5 miles (5.6km) turn LEFT onto the B886 to Waternish, Stein and Geary. You’re nearly there! (The road is single track, so please use ‘passing places’ to allow traffic coming the other way to pass and to allow faster vehicles behind you to overtake). After 3 miles (4.8km) you will arrive in the village of Waternish. Keep going until you go around a sharp right- left turn in the road and onto a long, downhill straight.
