Absolutely breathtaking property. There were many things we loved about this stay; the view of the bay, the cleanliness, the little touches of local artwork/crafts dotted around the property, and the superb hospitality of the amazing hosts Vicki and John (especially the baked goods 😋) - we genuinely didn't want to leave ❤️

Extraordinary on all levels, from the comfy bed and pillows to the strong shower, excellent breakfast, amazing views (even during Storm Kathleen!) and, above all, the friendly welcome from Vicki, John and Roo. The pub and restaurant in Stein are easily walkable and worth a visit. We look forward to returning one day!

This was hands down the best part of our Scotland trip. Vicki and John are so kind, John even drove us down to dinner so we didn’t have to walk in the rain! We were able to enjoy two lovely dinners just a short walk away and explore the local area. We will definitely be back.
We had a remarkable stay with John and Vicki in Skye. They were incredibly welcoming and friendly hosts. Their adorable dog, Rhubarb, added to the charm of the place. Our private landing and room were outstanding, spotlessly clean and with stunning views of the loch. The bathroom was beautifully designed with an amazing shower. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a variety of cereals, fresh bread, crumpets, and delicious beverages. The real treat was Vicki's homemade Malteaser cake, an absolute delight. In summary, our stay with John and Vicki was perfect, and we highly recommend their place to anyone visiting Skye. Thank you for having us Hazel & Paul xXx

Near Byre was an utterly wonderful place to spend our holiday on Skye. The byre is a beautiful space, comfortable and extremely tasteful, with all of the amenities we needed and some additional thoughtful touches, like lovely soaps etc. The byre is the perfect size for two people and a dog, and there was outside space for the dog as well. Vicki was fantastic throughout our stay - she was on hand to answer any questions, advise on walks etc and help us out with anything we needed. We were lucky to have glorious weather for our entire stay and loved being able to sit on the sofa in the byre enjoying the incredible views of Waternish, Duirinish and the Outer Hebrides, as well as going on wonderful walks right out of the door. Honestly, we can't recommend Near Byre highly enough

In all our travels this space was an absolute treasure! Peaceful and cozy, a perfect place to sip some tea and snuggle into a chair with a book. Vicki is one of the kindest, sweetest hosts and will make you feel right at home. Roobarb is a fabulous assistant and was always willing sharing her ball with us. Linus and Lucy the piggies were wonderful additions to our stay and we thoroughly enjoyed the back scratching sessions and the sheep let us pet their noses. The views from the windows are breathtaking from daytime rainbows to nightly meteor showers, it was spectacular. The handy location of the pub just down the road was perfect and the huge portions and delectable menu was glorious. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy this space and the company again. An absolute joy, highly recommend xx

This place was honestly so perfect! Probably the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. Vicki and John were so sweet and very communicative! The breakfast in the morning was delicious and Vicki always spoiled us with fresh baked goods throughout the day as well. Their dog, Roobarb, was so cute and loved pets, the perfect greeting every time we walked through the door! On top of the amazing hosts, and cutest house, it was just the most beautiful spot to stay. The isle was spectacular, so walkable, and we loved going down to Stein Pub in the evening for dinner and drinks. We will definitely be staying here again!!

Where to start….. everything was perfection. The fresh bread, jam and cakes were a very nice touch. Once Vicki found out Sal was Vegan she baked a vegan cake, which was out of this world amazing! The decor was stunning, the bed was so comfy, plenty space, the finishing touches such as the local sheep skins were beautiful. The view was spectacular and coming in from long walks to the fire was bliss. Plenty of books to read and maps to plan adventures. Vicki was the perfect host, thoughtful, caring and friendly. We’ll be back for sure!! ❤️

What a lovely place to stay with great views !! The room was very stylish and the bed super comfortable. The breakfast with the freshly baked bread and homemade granolas is simply delicious. Vicky was the perfect host - we felt very, very comfortable from the beginning and would have liked to stay a little longer.
